Why cycle?

It's fun!

It's never too late to rediscover the beauty of the bike, be it cycling to keep fit, popping to the shops or getting to work. It will increase your fitness, save you money and put a smile on your face.

It's fast!

Have you ever sat in a queue of traffic on the way to work and seen a cyclist sail past and disappear into the distance? Well that cyclist could be you!

It's good for your health!

According to the NHS, someone weighing 80kg (12.6 stones) will burn off more than 650 calories with an hour's riding as well as tone their legs and bottom.

It's good for your wallet!

Once you've bought a bike there is very little cost to cycling. The spiralling cost of fuel doesn't affect cyclists, and you can cover a typical commute to work by cycling at a fraction of the cost that you would travelling by car.
