Background Information
The Sacramento Regional Transit District (RT) is undertaking a comprehensive update of its Transit Master Plan, Short Range Transit Plan and ADA/Paratransit Plan. This process which will include an extensive public and stakeholder engagement program, will take place over the next 12 months.
The Transit Vision
One of the first steps in developing the Transit Master Plan is to establish a "Transit Vision" - this will set the standard for what type of transit service is offered in the region over the next 30 years and will provide the overall context for the Transit Master Plan. As part of this Visioning process, we have developed three future transit scenarios which we will be consulting on this Spring.

RT is your transit agency and throughout the development of the Transit Master Plan, we will be providing lots of opportunities for you to provide your thoughts and ideas - current plans include a monthly online 'chat' with General Manager Mike Wiley and an online survey.
