Rail
In addition to Waverley and Haymarket stations in Edinburgh City Centre, Edinburgh has three other rail stations at Edinburgh Park, South Gyle and Newcraighall.
Edinburgh Park is the newest of these stations and was opened in December 2003. The following train services stop at Edinburgh Park:
- Edinburgh - Bathgate;
- Edinburgh - Falkirk Grahamston / Dunblane / Perth; and
- Edinburgh CROSSRAIL (Edinburgh Park - Edinburgh - Newcraighall)
This station acts as an interchange for trains, buses, pedestrians, cyclists and car drop off. The station is served by a cross-city bus service (service 24 to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary) and X47 (a peak time commuter service to the city centre and Penicuik). A complimentary dedicated shuttle bus service links the station to Edinburgh Park and South Gyle business parks. The Stagecoach X40 service also links the station to the Park and Ride at Ferrytoll in Fife.

- Edinburgh - Dunfermline - Kirkcaldy
Newcraighall Station: Part of the Edinburgh CROSSRAIL network, Newcraighall Station is a rail based Park and Ride facility. The station is also linked to the bus network by Lothian Bus number 30.
